Pulse height discriminator employing distributed amplification

摘要

An integral pulse-height discriminator employing distributed amplification is proposed. The discriminator accepts 0.5-12 volts positive input pulses with a maximum repetition rate in excess of 20 mc. Dead time is less than 25 mμsec and threshold uncertainty is 30 mV. The circuit uses 20 vacuum-tubes in an arrangement believed to be new.
