摘要

Recent work has shown that nitric acid (among other mineral acids) is extractedninto benzene solution of trilaurylamine (and other long chain tertiary aliphatic amines) to an extent which largely exceeds the quantity required by the salt formation reaction. The resulting amine nitrate-nitric acid solution has received lately increasing attention due to its unusual capacity of extracting Pu (IV) from aqueous solutions.nThe object of the present investigation is the behavior of benzene solution of tri¬laurylamine nitrate when contacted with solid anion exchange resin;the results so far obtained authorize to extend this program to the behavior of organic solution of inorganic salt in contact with ion exchange material, including new interesting applications such as the purification of organic solvents, the decontamination of special solvents used in the nuclear fuel reprocessing, the recovery of some fission products etc.
