HEAT TRANSFER IN HONEYCOMB SANDWICH PANELS

Accurate analytical methods are presented for predicting the heat transfer and resulting temperature distribution in both brazedand bonded honeycomb sandwich panels during transient and steady state conditions. This analysis includes the heat transfer due to conduction;through the cell walls as well as, the heat exchange due to radiation within the cell. Heat transfer by convection is negligible.
