HIERARCHIES OF DESCRIPTIVE LEVELS IN PHYSICAL THEORY

It is shown that if we attempt to build up a mathematicalnSystem for the description of physical phenomena, on the assumption that the essential observations are two-valued, so that the appropriate algebra is the field of characteristic two, we are led to formulate a hierarchical system.
