A Series Solution of Thick-Walled Elastic Non-Homogeneous Hollow Cylinder Subject to Shrinkage

A series solution of a thick-walled hollow cylinder of infinite length with non-homogeneous elastic property subject to spontaneous shrinkage is given. The nonhomogeneity is assumed here so that the shear modulus is a function of r to the qth power (q = 1, 2, ---) while the bulk modulus K = constant. (Author)
