AUTOMATED GENERAL AND TECHNICAL STORES SHIPBOARD LOGISTICS

This report contains a detailed description of the existing logistics programming efforts, the General and technical Stores (GATS) computer system, for the NTDS computers and a recommended revision of these programs to further increase their effectiveness and usefulness. The functional aspects of both systems are described in terms of individual transactions which may be processed in order to maintain and use the computerized file. The information retained on all items in the computerized file is described in the form of a table.
