WALL PRESSURE FLUCTUATIONS IN BOUNDARY LAYER FLOW AND RESPONSE OF SIMPLE STRUCTURES TO RANDOM PRESSURE FIELDS

摘要

In Part I, experimental results are given for various statistical properties of the fluctuating wall pressure field associated with a subsonic turbulent equilibrium boundary layer, developed oh the ground and polished wall of a wind tunnel after natural transition from laminar to-turbulent flow.nThe variation along the wind tunnel test section of boundary layer mean velocity profiles, intensity of the longitudinal component of turbulence, arid mean flow parameters are given.
