AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OP THE HYDRODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE OP WINGED, HIGH-DENSITY TORPEDOES

摘要

The hydrodynamic performance of winged torpedoes has been investigated. It is assumed that the wing is mounted such that its center of pressure coincides with the center of gravity of the body, and that a ring-tail stabilizer is used. The resulting overall lift-drag ratios are presented as functions of the buoyancy-weight ratio.
