摘要

The purpose of the teat reported herein was to evaluate the Delta Titonium-Cadnium plating proems with respect to its operating character is tics and ability to reduce or originate hydrogen cabrittlenant problems inherent with opiate high strength stoles. In addition to this, the corrosion resistance of the Delta titanium-cadmium plate was evaluated and compared to cadmium plate from a standard cadmium cyanide bath. The results of the evaluation of the operating characteristics of the new bath shoved that it had a 100 percent anode efficiency and a. mean cathode efficiency of 94.6 percent over a current density range of 20 to 30 asperses per square foot. The mean plating rate over the sacs current density range was found to be .0955 mils per ampere hour based on one square foot of area. Chemical composition control of the bath was found to be simply achieved.
