A METHOD FOR ESTIMATING DEPOSITION PATTERNS OF RADIONUCLIDES IN WORLD-WIDE FALLOUT

The report summarizes some of the available reported data and data correlations on world-wide fallout. An empirical method, based on the reported data, for estimating radionuclide deposition patterns and the deposition rates is presented. The application of the method in compu-tations for assessing the contribution of world-wide fallout to environ-mental contamination, especially of food crops, in nuclear war studies is outlined. Computer input data for the model are summarized.
