DEVELOPMENT OF A MULTIPURPOSE KIT FINAL REPORT PHASE Ⅰ VOLUMEⅡ EVALUATION OF PRESENT KITS

This part of the report is concerned with the evaluation of the present kits. These are the Vapor Testing Kit ABC-MI8A1, the Water Testing Kit AN-MS, and the Food Testing and Screening Kit ABC-M3. This evaluation involves four parts. The first part is a functional analysis of the kits and components the second is concerned with the human factors in the test procedures. The third part contains an evaluation of the chemical factors in the kits—the sensitivity of the various tests, the quality of the colors produced, and some measure of the human response to these tests. In the fourth part two of the specifications for the Vapor Test Kit (MI8A1) were selected at random and evaluated in detail in terms of adequately specifying the item described.
