A simple technique is presented for calibrat¬ing an electronic system used in the plotting of erythrocyte volume spectra. The calibration factors, once obtained, apparently remain ap¬plicable for some time. Precise estimates of calibration factors appear to be limited by errors in measuring hematocrit and or mean channel. For consistent determination of the latter, the selection of a sufficiently low aper¬ture current appears to be of importance.
