摘要

This report makes a critical examination of the utilizability of the infinite number of avail¬able integral conditions for the improvement of the approximation theory for laminar and turbu¬lent boundary layers. It is shown that earlier physics concepts (26), (27), with respect to the application of empirical-lens for .shearing stress and dissipation of turbulent boundary layers on the compressible area, can also be generalized for the case of flow with heat transfer. Drag coefficients up to Mach 7, calculated for the flat plate on the basis of this generalization, agree well with available measurement results.
