FIRST INTERIM REPORT FOR MINIATURE THIN FILM INDUCTORS (Modification No.2)

This report reviews a program directed toward the fabrication of miniature thin-film inductors using flat-spiral conducting paths in conjunction with bulk-ferrite substrates and a ferrite-film encapsulate. This report covers the period from 1 December 1362 to 15 March 1963 and from 27 May 1963 to 1 September 1963.nThe work is organized under two tasks. The first task concerns the development of methods for fabricating spiral conductors from a material that will withstand the rather severe ferrite-film deposition environment.
