摘要

The directional characteristics and input impedance of a two-element Yagi-type array in a parallel-plate region have been studied. The' optimum values of the tuning reactance and inter-clement spacing at which the parasite gives the best performance either as a reflector or as a director have been obtained. The radiation fields in the directions away from and towards the parasite, and the input impedance to the array have been measured experimentally and are found to be in good agreement with theory.
