The 2-Mev Van de Graaff Accelerator of the Nucleonic Division has been used Tor several years in a continuing program that has had as its goal the study of nuclear reactions induced by mums. As a part of this general program, targets of natural neon gas were irradiated with the triton beam; the protons going to the ground state and to the first excited state were observed at vari6us triton energies.
