摘要

The irradiation of metallurgical test specimens in the beam port and fuel core facilities' of various nuclear test reactors at temperatures ranging from 200 to 800"F has neces¬sitated the design and development of several temperature control systems. Basic systems which have been employed for the irradiation of relatively massive loadings in the various experimental facilities of the Brookhaven Graphite Reactor and the Oak Ridge Low Intensity Test Reactor are described in detail and reference made to inherent system advantages and limitations.
