Indirect Basophil Degranulation Test in Penicillin Allergy

摘要

A critical clinical evaluation of the indirect basophilddegranulation test was performed using penicillin hypersensitivity reactions as the experimental model. In general, it was found that the indirect basophil degranulation test was efficient, simple and easily adapatable for laboratory use. The major problem we encountered was the variability among the individual serum controls and the difficulty interpreting the penicillin serum test results in eases with borderline serum controls.
