ATTITUDES TOWARD CIVIL LIBERTIES AMONG JAPANESE AND AMERICAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

In the present study, a set of twelve items bearing directly upon civil liberties was administered to over six hundred American and Japanese students at six different univer¬sities- Comparisons were made between universities in the same country as well as between the two samples as a whole.
