THEORETICAL STUDIES OF INFRARED TARGET DETECTION PROBLEMS

Nearly all of the effort on this contract has been given to the evaluation of infrared detectors, with the major effort going to unitary (non image-forming) detectors, but with some attention to image-transducing detectors. Toward the end of the contract a small effort was given to the concepts involved in atmospheric transmission.
