MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF NON-WOVEN MONOFILAMENT UNIDIRECTIONAL AND BI-DIRECTIONAL LAMINATES OF PARALLITE CORPORATION

摘要

Parallite Corporation has developed a special formulation glass fiber which can be fabricated into directionally oriented laminates. It is reported that mechanical properties are significantly higher than those obtained with other directionally oriented laminates.nMechanical property tests, (tensile and flexure) were conducted on monofilament unidirectional and bidirectional laminates in order to obtain basic data on this new material and to compare test results of specimens fabricated by Mac and Parallite Corporation.
