SOME METHODS FOR QUICKLY ESTABLISHING ORBITAL SYSTEMS

This paper analyzes four methods for establishing orbital satellite systems in which all the satellites are equally spaced in one circular orbit. These methods are then compared on the bases of time required to establish the system and propulsion requirements. The Fast Pinwheel Method is found to be the quickest but also the most expensive in terms of velocity requirements.
