PERFORMANCE AND REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS OF VIDEO DECODERS FOR USE WITH ATC RADAR BEACON SYSTEM

摘要

This report presents the results of a study of the performance and requirements for decoders in the ATC Radar Beacon System. Many related topics are also presented. The study, essentially analytical, views the decoder from a functional standpoint in the performance of the overall system rather than as a piece of hardware. An extensive list of conclusions and recommendations is presented as a guide for system and component design in order that a continuously improving system may evolve.
