摘要

General principles are established for the solution of a reasonably general set of nonlinear partial differential. equations describing large amplitude propagation of plane waves through an ideal gas having constant coefficients of viscosity, heat conduction, and heat radiation. A perturbation technique is used which permits the set of nonlinear equations, for which there are no known closed form solutions, to degenerate into an infinite number of sets of linear equations for which closed form solutions can be obtained.
