The investigations carried out under this grant have developed along two different linesnA. Electrophysiological studies have been made of the parametersnof transmitter release from mammalian motor nerve terminals.nB. A microfluorometer technique has been adapted for quantitative studies of oxidative metabolism in living muscle and nerve cells.
