摘要

Control of the White Root disease is based mainly on cultural methods, although some attempts have been made to improve results by the use of chemicals, such as copper sulphate. No comprehensive studies in vitro concern¬ing the effects of fungicides on Fomes lignosus have so far been published.nThe present paper deals with in vitro effects of fungicides on the fungus, Fomes lignosus and with some in vivo observations on the practical use of fungicides in the field.
