STRUCTURE OF THE EARTH'S CRUST OF SIBERIA AND THE FAR EAST, ACCORDING TO THE DATA OF REGIONAL GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS

Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences In the process of the construction of the map, some existing maps of the earth's crustal thicknesses compiled by some authors (8, 9. 14, 18 et al) were also used. Subdivision of the territory of Siberia and the Far East according to types and subtypes of the earth's crust is shown for the first time, and a more detailed picture of M discontinuity is given on the map. The map may be used as a basis for considering some problems of deep structure of the earth's crust and also for distinguishing regional anomalies caused by M discontinuity relief in the observed gravity field.
