Effect of Reynolds Number on Turbine Performance at Various Mach Number

Conduct an analytical and experimental program to investigate the inter-relationship of Reynolds Number (Re) and Mach Number (Mn) effect (on the efficiency of axial impulse turbines) in the Re range of from 800 to 10,000 and the Mn range of from 1.15 to 3.0.n2.tPerform analytical studies in an effort to determine the optimum pressure split of two-stage re-entry turbines operating in the Re and Mn ranges specified under Item 1 above.n3.tFormulate final conclusions regarding the performance potential of two-stage re-entry turbines.
