PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR A Ka-BAND INVERTED COAXIAL MAGNETRON

During this report period, six model tubes of the refined mechanical design were built and evaluated.nElectrical evaluation data of the six tubes are presented.nOscillation life tests and cycled heater life tests are reported.nResults of the anode evaluation program and the areas of further improvement are discussed.nPower output capabilities of greater than 100 kw are reported as are the power output versus frequency characteristics of a late model tube.
