To develop an accurate method for determining drying end points during field tests of laundry equipment and textile items.nIt is concluded that:n1.tThe direct moisture sensing method evaluated during this study does not provide a test instrument or facility which would be suitable to make moisture determinations normally required in laundry test work.n2.tThe direct moisture sensing method may have application in the control function of normal field laundry drying procedures.
