During the report period the experimental work was oriented toward a continuation of the studies on the properties of liquid explosive systems. This study, which has been in progress for the duration of the contract, has been a broad evaluation of the sensitivity characteristics of a number of liquid explosive systems designed to determine, if possible, the mechanism of initiation in the various testing procedures used to evaluate the hazards in handling liquid explosives. In order to do this a number of different systems have been examined.
