摘要

The tensile strength and stress-rupture behavior of B-66 was superior to that of FS-85 up to 2400°F, the highest testing temperature. This superiority is greatly magnified when comparisons are made on a strength: density basis, as FS-85 is 25% more dense than B-66.nBase metal bendability was less than IT for both alloys. FS-85 had a 4T bend transition temperature of -250°F as compared to -100°F for B-66.
