Electric Quadrupole-Quadrupole Interaction in Cerium Ethyl Sulfate

摘要

Some EPR measurements on cerium ethyl sulfate are reported which show that in addition to the classical dipole-dipole interaction, there is between nearest neighbor ions a large interation which is believed to be due to quadrupole-quadrupole interaction.
