Stored Energy Actuated Lift Systems (Seals)

This investigation was initiated to prove that stored energy can actuate a lift system for use on a bomb-lift trailer or truck. This report summarizes the concepts, approach, design, fabrication, and testing of a stored-energyactuated lift system. The SEALS loading system will be used to load special weapons on vertical/short takeoff and landing aircraft at remote sites. (Author)
