Tests of a Hamilton Standard Four-Way, 21-Inch-Diameter Model Propeller Employing the U. S. Navy Airborne Model Test Facility

The U. S. Navy's Airborne Model Test Facility was employed to obtain aerodynamic and structural test data for a Hamilton Standard 1/9th-scale model representative of an early propeller design for the XC-142 aircraft. All propeller forces and moments plus propeller blade stresses are presented for inflow angles through 90 degrees. (Author)
