Plastic Design in High Strength Steel. The Inelastic Behavior of Closely-Braced Steel Beams under Uniform Moment

It is the purpose of this report to discuss beams which are braced sufficiently closely to allow attainment of maximum moment, and to give analytical expressions for the range of deformation through which maximum moment can be maintained. This range is commonly defined by the rotation capacity of the beam.
