Changes in the Content of Biologically Active Substances in Rats under the Action of Radial Accelerations

In rats after repeated action of positive radial acceleration, the content of histamine increases in the mucous membrane of the intestine, and decreases considerably in the lungs and tissues of the brain. In the tissues investigated, there is an increase in the activeness of the dynamoxydase, and also in the adrenalin-like substances, especially in the lungs and the brain tissue. After a single action of negative accelerations in the tissues investigated, there is a lowering of the content of histamine and the activeness of the dynamoxydase, the content of adrenalin-like substances decreases in the mucous membrane of the intestine, and in the tissues of the brain, and in the lungs no change is noted. After multiple and often repeated action of positive accelerations in the investigated tissue, there is also a lowering of the histamine and content of adrenalin-like substances in the mucous membrane of the intestine and in the tissues of the brain. Under different conditions of the experiment there is a reduction in the excretion of 5-oxyindoluxus acid with the urine, whereby, the change in the excretion of acid also occurs with a definite dependence on the magnitude, the frequency and duration of the action.
