摘要

It was found that use of lead-alloy anodes (93% Pb, 6% Sb, and 1% Ag) was practicable under conditions of continuous high water velocity, providing current densities were not much in excess of 10 amperes per square foot (ASF). The test phase reported herein was to determine whether changes from low to high sea water velocities, and vice versa (simulating ship movements), would adversely affect anode performance.
