Research Directed Toward Refinement of Geodetic Techniques Utilizing Terrestrial and Spatial Configurations

The total eclipse of the sun on July 20, 1963 was observed near Ellsworth, Maine by staff members of Georgetown Observatory. Clouds interfered with the principal experiments but partial success was obtained by two methods for determining the time of mid totality. Only the photoelectric data have been reduced for this report. (Author)
