The purpose of this thesis is to advance the science, art, and technique of using components in the construction of contemporary structures in contrast with individual piece-by-piece construction still generally characteristic of today's construction methods. Its goal is an advanced engineering technology resulting in better organized and more beautiful structures with rapidity and economy of construction.
