The reports read at the Seventh Scientific Conference of the Library of the Academy of Sciences USSR are published in this collection. Problems concerning the organization of international book-exchange in the system of the Academy of Sciences USSR, peculiarities of the exchange ties with the socialist and principal capitalist countries, and peculiarities of the ties with the Eastern countries are examined in these reports. The experience of many years of the Library of the Academy of Sciences USSR in international book-exchange is summarized. This publication is intended for library and other workers handling problems of international book-exchange. (Author)
