摘要

Quarry operators often find it advantageous to fire multiple hole blasts with time delays between each hole. This practice,in blaster's parlance,is known as ripple firing. One effect of time delays between shots of a multiple hole blast is to impart to the seismic signal of periodicity which invites analysis by Fourier techniques. This paper investigates the effect of delay time and number of delays on the spectra of ripple-fired blasts. (Author)
