The climatic observations at three stations along the slope and at one station at the edge of the ice cap, east from Thule, were evaluated.nThe following elements were analyzed.nTemperature: Annual and diurnal course of temperature, extreme temperatures, a periodic fluctuation of temperature (also a case of strong warming along the slope was investigated), temperature lapse rates along the NW and SW slopes of the Greenland ice cap,nWind regime: Frequencies of wind directions, mean wind speed, maximum wind speed.nCloudiness: Annual and diurnal variation of cloudiness, frequencies of clear and overcast sky, diurnal range of cloudiness;a case of sudden extreme change of cloudiness was analyzed.
