MOLECULAR ORBITAL THEORY IN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

摘要

The object of this research was to test the application of simple molecular orbital theory to organic chemistry by obtaining suitable experimental data primarily with carbonium ions and carbanions and by appropriate calculations. The present project included some manipulation of the simple HUckel Theory but did not involve those methods that considered explicit incorporation of electronic repulsion terms.
