INTENSITY CONNECTION OF THE ELECTRIC FIELD OF THE ATMOSPHERE WITH AURORA POLARIS

To study the causes, specifying the relation of polar auroras with the electric field of the atmosphere, it is necessary to make comparison of the observations, obtained in northern and southern polar regions. If it is considered, that polar auroras reduce E for all points of the terrestrial globe, as it is mentioned in reports [2-4], then it is possible to assume, that this reduction is due to an increase in electroconductivity of the atmosphere and is connected with an increase in its ionization» If at the time of polar auroras in Northern and Southern Hemispheres './ill be observed a different sign of the E change effect, then the variations of the electrical field can be tried to be bound with differently charged particles, deviating from the pole under the effect of the magnetic field of the Earth.
