摘要

Two main bands of infrared giving rise to quenching and stimulation of luminescence and photoconductivity have been found for ZnS phosphors prepared under different conditions and with various activators;one at about 0.7u, the other at 1.3|i. Because of the similar response of quenching and stimulation, it has been proposed that the ionized activator (trapped hole) is mainly responsible for the IR absorption and forms a coupled system with the trapped electron.
