NUMERICAL INVERSION OF LAPLACE TRANSFORMS AND SOME INVERSE PROBLEMS IN RADIATIVE TRANSFER

A consideration of a semi-infinite homo¬geneous slab atmosphere that absorbs radia¬tion and scatters it isotropically. A basic inverse problem is the determination of the source function, given the angular dependence of the emergent radiation.
