Application of the Membrane-Filter Technique to Esophageal and Gastric Cytology.

摘要

The membrane-filter technique is easily adapted to the cytologic study of esophageal and gastric washings. The method is outlined in detail, and pitfalls are described. The chief advantages are rapidity of fixation for clarity of cytologic detail and nearly total recovery of cells from fluid. (Author)
