This Technical Report contains the principal results obtained in the course of an investigation on the singular configurations of linkages. A first paper already published (Refill, p.9) has been omitted, for it mainly considers regular linkages and investigates the effect of adding or removing bars in such systems. Nevertheless such operations ere also interesting for singular configurations, for they cllow pointing out the type of singularity considered.
