This report is an account of open-water testing of a prototype conductivity probe off the coast of San Clemente Island, California, using 300-pound charges of TNT. The measured maximum bubble radius was found to be about 17 feet and the measured first period about 570 milliseconds. Accelerometers mounted in the probe indicated that the displacement of the probe during the shot (i.e., during the first period of the bubble), was on the order of 1 foot along the axis of the probe.
